Entry ProcedureAll entries must be received by 2:00 p.m., on June 19, 2008. The KCGA only accepts online, mailed, or delivered entries. Format & Field36 holes stroke play. There are two Divisions Open (gross scoing only) and Players (net and gross scoring) and multiple flights. There is a 102 player maximum field. ScheduleSaturday, June 28 1st round Sunday, June 29 2nd round Entry Fee - $100Entry fee includes green fees, practice range, lunch each day, and prize fund eligibilty. PrizesThe overal gross and net champions receive a symbolic trophy. In addition, the KCGA provides a significant prize pool to be distributed to several places in each flight. The actual number of places is based upon the number of entrants in each flight. Prize certificates are good at any KCGA member club. Practice RangeSwope Memorial Golf Course does not have a practice range. Participants may use the practice range at the Heart of America Golf Academy beginning at 9:00 a.m. each day. Practice range use is complimentary as part of the entry fee. Practice PrivilegesThere are no official practice rounds for the Kansas City Women's Amateur. Starting Times & Player InformationStarting times and player information are available and posted to the KCGA website (www.kansascitygolfer.org) no later than 10:00 a.m., the day following the entry deadline. Players without internet access may call the KCGA. Starting times and player information are not mailed. Rules of Golf & Conditions of CompetitionPlay will be governed by the Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA, and the KCGA Local Rules and Conditions of Competition as approved by the KCGA Rules and Competitions Committee. Questions shall be settled by the Committee, whose decision shall be final. Personal Appearance & ConductProper golf attire is required. Jeans, t-shirts, and tank tops are prohibited. Shorts must be mid-thigh. Golf shirts must have a traditional or mock collar and must be tucked in. This dress code will be used in conjunction with any additional dress code used by the host club. Any act of unsportsmanlike conduct, including the use of obscene or abusive language, may be cause for disqualification. WithdrawsA player or team is required to notify the KCGA office immediately by phone or e-mail if they need to withdraw from a KCGA competition. Failure to notify the KCGA may result in disciplinary actions, which may include a suspension from KCGA competitions. RefundsRefunds must be requested submitted to the KCGA via fax, e-mail, or mail.
