The Rules of the United States Golf Association govern play. This
information sheet, the KCGA Rules hard card and any site-specific
Local Rules and Conditions of Competition sheets are supplements
to the Rules of Golf. Local Rules of the host course do not apply.
The KCGA Rules and Competitions Committee, whose decision is final,
shall settle all questions. Reference to the Rules and Appendix
I may be found in the 2008-09 Rules of Golf book. Unless otherwise
noted, the penalty for breach of a Local Rule or Condition is two
strokes.

Groupings & Starting Times
First Round - Starting times begin at 8:00 a.m. from # 1 tee only
Second Round - Starting times begin at 8:00 from # 1 tee only;
Players will be grouped and assigned times based on their first
round gross score, with highest scores assigned the earlier times.
Groupings and starting times will be available approximately 1 hour

not to give out this information

Practice Range
The Practice Range opens one hour before the first starting time
each day. Range balls will be available at the practice range and
are complimentary for contestants only prior to their round.
Practice Round
There is no official practice round for this championship. However,
Milburn will allow contestants the opportunity to play the course
as a guest the week before the Championship. To make a starting
time, please call the Golf Shop at (913) 432-1224. The cost is $60
(plus tax) per player.
Food & Beverage
Lunch is included as part of the entry fee for each day of the
championship. Additional food and beverage purchases are the competitor’s
responsibility.
Transportation
The use of golf carts for this competition is permissible and at
the option of the player. The fee for a cart is $16.00 (tax included)
per day.
Caddies
Caddies are permitted for this competition. Please make your own
arrangements for a caddie.
Cellular Phones
The use of telecommunication equipment is prohibited during the
stipulated rounds.
Format
36 holes of stroke play. Trophies are awarded to the Champion,
Runner-Up, and Low Senior. Prize Certificates are award to the top
finishers.
Play-off
In the event of a tie for the overall championship the players
concerned shall compete in a hole-by-hole play-off starting immediately
after the Committee has verified results and announced the play-off
at the scoreboard.
Withdrawals
To withdraw, you must contact the KCGA office (913) 649-5242. A
player who fails to notify the KCGA of his withdrawal or who fails
to notify the Committee of his withdrawal during the championship
is subject to a one-year suspension from KCGA events. If you need
to withdraw any time after 5:00 on May 11, please call (913) 484-1844.

Attire & Conduct
Proper golf attire is required. Blue jeans, designer jeans, tee
shirts, and tank tops are prohibited. Shorts must be at least mid-thigh
in length. Golf shirts must have a traditional or mock collar. Milburn
is a spike-less facility. Any act of unsportsmanlike conduct, including
the use of obscene or abusive language, may be cause for disqualification.
Close of Competition
The competition shall be deemed to have closed when the symbolic
prize for the event has been presented.
